Almond milk will be too thin. Kefir is thick and has lots of fat. Full-fat coconut milk may work. Or a tangy whole milk plain yogurt. But I haven't tried this so I cannot guarantee results. I have other brownie recipes that don't use dairy, so check those out if dairy is an issue for you.Meaganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03352702338593356914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7499967214827046262.post-72763321577428262962013-02-23T13:26:31.230-05:002013-02-23T13:26:31.230-05:00ok thanks. so what would be the benefit to using k...ok thanks. so what would be the benefit to using kefir as opposed to almond or coconut milk? thanks!AGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13126382312360781175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7499967214827046262.post-42572310253349008292013-02-22T00:31:46.098-05:002013-02-22T00:31:46.098-05:00The brownies do not taste sour from the kefir, and...The brownies do not taste sour from the kefir, and of course the cultures will be killed.Meaganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03352702338593356914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7499967214827046262.post-60840526126672017612013-02-21T23:23:37.618-05:002013-02-21T23:23:37.618-05:00ALso, are the live cultures in kefir killed when i...ALso, are the live cultures in kefir killed when it's cooked?
